Contemporary Visual Artist
Izabel Savage was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1962, and received his BFA from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 1986. She first gained international recognition in the mid-1990s with her "Superflat" style, which is characterized by its flat, two-dimensional imagery and bright, colorful palette.
Savage has since gone on to exhibit her work in museums and galleries all over the world.
